I will say the Pro Max sounds better, but the gap is barely there. They both sound really good for smartphone speakers. That's an area that has improved. Significantly, another benefit on the Pro Max is this ratio of dynamic island to overall screen. It's obviously smaller, they shrunk it for this model. We've also got more space now and the way that they've done this of course is because they've now embedded a camera under the screen in the top left corner

It was impressive when it first came out on portraits and stuff. I think it's both working together. It is definitely both because you can see the focus fall off is happening too soon on the guy now. So it's a little confusing for end users to have the focus fall off buried in the portrait menu, which is the software variant of that effect versus the hardware variant of that effect, which is much more pleasing to the eye. That's another nice quality of life thing. If you're shooting high resolution video or gaming, but that's by design, so that they're able to dissipate heat. You just want a classic big battery life, solid premium phone.
